Despite wars and terror, the exiles continue to return to Zion! More than 30,000 immigrants arrived in Israel in 2015, a 10 percent increase over the previous year and the highest immigration (aliyah) figure since 2003.
According to a report by the Jewish Agency, a record 7,900 immigrants arrived from France, a 10 percent rise from 2014. The second-largest group came from Ukraine, prompted by the fighting with Russia. Some 7,000 Ukrainian immigrants reached Israel in 2015, up 15 percent from 2014; and 6,600 immigrants came from Russia, a spike of 40 percent over the previous year.
Many arrive desperately needing assistance in all forms. We are providing clothing, furniture, medical and household supplies, drug rehabilitation, and so much more. Thank you for helping to support these new immigrants in this prophetic return of His People to Israel (Ezekiel 20:34)!
