A Special Place in Jerusalem's Gilo
The Amit school for children at risk received from Israel Relief Aid many sacks of clothing and linens (pictures are of their laundry room). They are responsible to provide these kids the clothing they need as they grow through the years in their care.
They were deeply grateful (and we thank GoodsForGood for collecting them for us). Thank you to our friends all over the world that are helping ship aid to needy children in Gilo, Jerusalem, Israel.
Network Distribution
All over Israel there is a network of distribution stations run by people with a heart to help others. This is borne out of personal experience, usually the hard knocks of life, or it can simply be an overwhelming sense of need that cannot be shaken. Haim in Kfar Saba is one of those aid station managers that is humble and a wonderful help to families and individuals all over the country.
Recently, Israel Relief Aid distributed a container to many stations and gave 11 cases of children’s shoes, 14 cartons of new clothing and a pallet of women’s hygienic supplies to the Kfar Saba station for Haim to distribute within their sphere of constituents.
The Kfar Saba aid station also obtains food and other items from wholesalers at cut-rate prices for a list of people who are living under the poverty line and cannot afford to buy food/items at normal prices. This is a huge help to these families in poverty.
Israel Relief Aid partners together with aid stations all throughout Israel to continue our goal of seeing the poverty statistics improved in Israel and to ease the hardships.
