Helping Impoverished Families in Haifa
In answer to the struggling need in the Haifa in the north, Israel Relief Aid distributed 100 cartons of quality second-hand clothing to the Haifa Springs aid center in the city in September, 2016.
This aid station, run by Victor, has been operating for many years and serves hundreds of Ukrainian brand new immigrants to Israel each month.
The immigrants who come to Israel usually come with only two suitcases to their name. They have to learn Hebrew in order to get decent work, so mostly do not have employment.
By word of mouth, they find the Haifa Springs aid center. Relationships are formed with new immigrants, friendships and fellowship in the community. Haifa Springs gives with dignity and it is a pleasure to work with them in our infrastructure of 40 aid centers in Israel.
