Disposable Ware/Supplies for Day Center for Disabled

The Israeli government has established day centers for developmentally disabled young adults throughout the country.  There is limited funding for the basics, and the rest comes by donations or money raised in craft sales.

Holiday celebrations and parents’ meetings are among the expenses that do not have financial coverage.

This month, Israel Relief Aid donated two cartons of disposable ware/supplies for one of these day centers nearby in Lod (not far from Ben Gurion Airport).  There are 14 young people there and almost as many revolving staff.

Dganit, the manager, expressed joy and great thanks for the surprise gift, and the parents also thanked us.
