Aid Container Arrives in Israel in Time for Passover

Four aid stations in northern Israel with low stock were grateful to each receive ¼ of a large shipping container of clothing and bedding recently, specifically for new immigrants, the disabled, single parent families and disadvantaged families.

How are we getting this to them in the most cost-effective way?  By eliminating high storage expenses.  

Without Israel’s staggering rent costs and property taxes for warehouses, insurance, warehouse equipment, personnel costs and all the expenses that go along with it, a huge amount of money every month does not have to be requested of donor participants.

The container leaves the port and makes stops in different cities to unload at approved non-profit aid distribution associations until the container is empty.  Fast Flow Technology can save tens of thousands of dollars per month!  That means our donor participants really do give directly to the aid itself.

The Northern Haifa Aid Station serves hundreds of new immigrants and other needy Israelis every month.  It is pristinely clean, comfortable and gives dignity to those in need. Yet, the aid station is dependent on donation companies like Israel Relief Aid to provide stock for its shelves. 

There were four men unloading, and these four have volunteered out of a thankful heart to help provide happiness for others who have received as their families have, from the Northern Haifa aid station.

WHO ARE  WE?

We are a Registered Israeli Non-Profit Corporation supplying humanitarian aid stations all over the country for new immigrants, the homeless, unemployed and single-parent families as well as hospitals, children’s welfare villages, the IDF, Holocaust Survivor centers, facilities for the disabled and other institutions.  

A low-cost strategy focusing on minimal running costs puts our resources mostly to shipping and import of the aid itself, enabling us to import more relief into Israel.

Israel Relief Aid is also a door-to-door logistics service provider of aid containers that meet the standards of Customs in Israel.  We help overseas individuals, congregations and organizations support nonprofits or needy sectors of their choosing in Israel.  We also assist those that want to support Israel with their own aid but have not shipped due to lack of familiarity with logistics and customs.  We are here “to feed the hungry, clothe the naked,” and provide for the needy.
