Blessing Israel Together

Thanks to our friends participating in our January Holocaust Survivors’ event, the Lod Senior Center cooking/baking club is now in preparation to begin.   You can see some of the center’s members in the picture during Jo Kaplan’s visit to hand over a check of the donations raised. With these funds they are planning on purchasing the following types of items: hand mixers cutting boards a small gas stove a food processor bowls, rolling pins, strainers mixing spoons, spatulas, ladles, tongs, etc. peelers, whisks, measuring cups/spoons, etc. cooking mitts and aprons A cookbook is being created of all the recipes that they remembered.  Such memories this will bring back for them. Thank you for making this cooking/baking club possible!  What a blessing for these Holocaust Survivors!

Thanks to your support, Israel Relief Aid brought food to Sderot, a town near the Gaza Strip. We could feel the excitement of each delivery. It was like a bag of joy had arrived at each doorstep, waiting to be explored. READ MORE...

70%   of those evacuated from the north of Israel during bombing by Hezbollah,   have decided not to return to the north , after what they’ve been through.   On the other hand, many families in the north decided to dig their heels in during a year of bombing, not evacuate, and bravely stay with their houses.  This bombing from Hezbollah was traumatic for families; probably most if not all of them now have PTSD, post-traumatic stress.  This PTSD causes a myriad of very severe symptoms, including, for  children, afraid to go to sleep at night . Passover is April 12! Along with the necessary pre-cleaning for the holiday, most of the food for the entire holiday is purchased in advance. Yet this is not the case for Israelis living in poverty. READ MORE

Israel Relief Aid is excited to announce a new addition to our aid center network of an Ethiopian-run distribution center in Talpiot, Jerusalem, right on the main street of the commercial center.

It's the first day of the 9 days of Av. Warnings have come out that the Iran attack on Israel is imminent, even possibly today. If you stand with Israel, now is the time to pray on her behalf. Bless you all!

With  two million Israelis living in poverty  (National Insurance report 1/21) (including  over 665,000 Israeli children) , even the basic needs become often unreachable.   READ MORE. . . 

  There is a small center in Hadera needing renovation—they have been feeding the homeless three meals a day and providing shelter and also serving as a rehab and meeting room. 

For lone soldiers with no family in Israel, basic personal supplies are near non-existent.

  After the Hamas attack on October 7th, Israel Relief Aid changed its role  from a relief organization into an emergency relief organization.  READ MORE
