  As 2025 comes to an end and you get ready to welcome the New Year, I want to take a moment to express my excitement and gratitude for the partnership with Israel Relief Aid that each of you has embraced.

Every day, we hear from struggling families in Israel who are unable to put food on their tables. When they are homeless, it is even more dire. READ MORE

  A vast majority of homeless Israelis live in Tel Aviv.  They are not hard to find—sleeping on the streets, wheeling their cart of belongings, or searching through trash bins. READ MORE

Thanks to YOU, we provided food for the entire High Holidays and immediate needs in 2 emergency shelters: Women and Children’s Shelter – for those fleeing domestic violence or trafficking or placed there by the State welfare system for safety. READ MORE

  I n the south of Israel, there are two shelters for Israelis.  O ne is a refuge for Israeli women and children who have been battered/abused .

  Dear Friends, This year we mark Passover with a year of massive change for the better. Although we still have challenges, there is hope, where there wasn’t last year.

Passover is April 12! Along with the necessary pre-cleaning for the holiday, most of the food for the entire holiday is purchased in advance. Yet this is not the case for Israelis living in poverty. READ MORE

  Thanks to lovers of Israel and our compassionate friends who lend a hand towards homeless men and battered women in Israel , Israel Relief Aid has been able to send  a month’s worth of food  for the holiday month of October for two shelters in Beer Sheva. READ MORE . . .

  Tonight, Israel’s holiday of Tisha B’Av begins at sundown thru Aug 13 at nightfall . It acknowledges the destruction of the first and second Jerusalem temples, the sending of the population to Babylon (today’s Iraq) and various other ominous events that all happened around this time.

Yes! This year more so! With the Iran-Israel war in progress, this historical holiday has the opportunity to be a holiday of miracles in our days as it was in ancient Iran (Persia) in the days of its Queen Esther and its Prime Minister Mordechai. In contrast, the king of ancient Iran in those days gave favor to the ancient Israelis.

Let us remember 2023 as a year in which many things happened.
