  As 2025 comes to an end and you get ready to welcome the New Year, I want to take a moment to express my excitement and gratitude for the partnership with Israel Relief Aid that each of you has embraced.

  As of Aug 1, the local Sderot Aid Center sees no letup of the war, or the needs associated with it.   

For volunteers with no family in Israel, they’re on their own.

For lone soldiers with no family in Israel, basic personal supplies are near non-existent.

The Israeli navy has successfully mounted and tested its vaunted Iron Dome anti-missile system on warships patrolling the country’s Mediterranean coast. Yesterday, the navy released a video of the tests, which took place in February.

Today we remember the 23, 447 Israeli fallen solders and victims of terrorism. May their stunning sacrifices and memories be eternal, indelible blessings.

Dan, Ayelet and Sergei from Haifa served in the Israel Defence Forces as lone soldiers after studying in Israel, having come to the country alone, while their parents lived in their country of birth. 

Two Israeli soldiers from the canine unit “Oketz,” and therefore not trained combat soldiers, inadvertently entered the Qalandia refugee camp north of Jerusalem on Monday evening and were attacked by local Palestinians.

An IDF officer was lightly injured Thursday in a stabbing attack near Mount Ebal outside the West Bank city of Nablus, the military said.
