An incredible aid container of shoes and clothing came in recently for the near-30% of Israelis in poverty. The shoes in this container were high quality and too expensive for Israelis in need to buy. Yet, they are the exact type of shoes that are needed in various conditions and weather here in this country. These shoes and clothing went out to the whole country– from near the border with Lebanon, down to Beer Sheva in the Negev. This was such an important gift for the nation of Israel, which is trying to heal after the stress of having to defend ourselves. This gift tells them that there are those that do care.
