Shalom & Happy September! September marks the transition from the dry summer into the rainy season, a time when traditional readings and prayers in Israel look toward renewal and sustenance from God. Our New Holocaust Survivor Project has been a success so far. We're honored to be invited into the homes of survivors requesting our assistance, making their living quarters more safe, comfortable, and efficient .  What a wonderful opportunity to fellowship with them and uplift their spirits. Israel Relief Aid’s Project of Helping Holocaust Survivors in Need Continues.

Klara Doshlov was born in October 1941 to a family that had been evacuated from the Zhytomyr region of Ukraine to the Kuibyshev region of Russia, in the Volga area, as they fled Nazi occupation. During the war, Klara lived in evacuation with her mother and brother until 1944. READ MORE

Holocaust Survivor Requested Help

Israel Relief Aid’s project of helping Holocaust Survivors in Need with repairs or lack of needed appliances continues.  Here’s the next Survivor that we helped. Genrikh Sirovaiski was born in 1935 in Vitebsk, Belorus and is 91 years old .  When World War II began, he was living in Lithuania with his family.  His father was Russian and died in WWII. This year again, children were chosen from families unable to provide school supplies for September 1 start of the school year.    Gift cards were pre-purchased from a major school-supply chain so that they could shop according to the list from the teachers.   Read more
