Here in Israel, the Coronavirus appeared earlier than in the US, so we are climbing out sooner as well.  However, the “return to normal” process is not a quick one.  Read more. . . 

Israel Relief Aid has focused on both major problem cities like Jerusalem and “forgotten” Israeli towns areas across the green line in the central district:  to elderly and quarantined families during this Coronavirus period.   This physical aid is much more than just a “phone call”.  Phone calls are good, but a physical tangible food bag or box plus a physical visit with a Holocaust Survivor is so much better.  Read more. . . 

Why on earth do Ukrainians leave their home country to make a new life in Israel?   Firstly, to make a living .  It is said that Ukraine is one of the easiest places to live because the rents average around $317 per month.  The problem is that wages average $263.  That’s not even enough to pay rent, let alone utilities, food, clothing, etc.  So life is quite hard.  READ MORE . . .

If Coronavirus restrictions are eased on the public in Israel, “over 67-year olds” will still be required to stay shut in.  How to help? Israel Relief Aid is continuing the purchasing and packing of coronavirus supplies in boxes for verified Israelis that need help.  Read More. . . 

Israel Relief Aid is building and distributing food boxes that are kosher for Passover and also can be used for general use after Passover.   These boxes will continue to be built and distributed on an ongoing basis after the holiday, as well.  Face masks are also being given out.  Read more . . . 

Many Israelis don’t know how they will fare in the next month or two without income.  They are cutting food purchases to low-cost foods.  Israel Relief Aid is continuing distribution of supplies to needy Israelis in this time of need, like large families living under the poverty line and the elderly and the disabled.  Read more . . .
