A couple new project for feeding at Passover are being planned!  One will be held in Israel’s Negev desert region, in a massive Bedouin Tent!  It will be a huge large group and the entire Seder will become a teaching platform.  300 young Ukrainian immigrants will be invited and a full meal will be served, and a Seder will be great learning experience. Two more projects will be distributing Passover food bags to 100 Ethiopians and 100 Ukrainians in Haifa. And our project for Holocaust Survivors, and others verified on welfare, in the coastal city of Bat Yam is in preparation.  These are 135 individual boxes/bags that are being packed. A recent container was from Holland brought in by Israel Relief Aid to Haifa and Ashdod. Almost 30 aid centers all over the country came to collect a portion of the packages until they were all gone. READ MORE

With Purim three-day holiday beginning March 6, Israel Relief Aid is going back to the Ben Shemen Youth Village to help sponsor a Purim party to bring joy to 400 teenage placed kids/orphans.  Why does the youth village need help for something as important as a holiday celebration?  It turns out that while the government does cover basic needs like daily meals, such daily meals are not holiday-oriented.  So, when a holiday comes, they have no budget for that.
