Support Holocaust Survivors

189,000 Holocaust Survivors live in Israel, of which 45,000 live below the poverty line, according to the annual report of the Holocaust Survivors Welfare Assn in 2015. According to the report, 30% of Holocaust Survivors reported that they were forced to give up on food and 25% on medicines and medical care because of the economic situation.

39% of the Survivors said their revenues vs expenditure ratio does not allow them to live with dignity.  27% reported that they were not able to heat their apartments last winter, 73% suffer from health problems,  20% do not feel safe in their homes and 45% feel lonely occasionally or most of the time.
