Israel Relief Aid - Thanksgiving Manna Project

It is that time of year again. Thanksgiving is not far away. The hustle and bustle will soon begin as we prepare to be with family and friends, honoring old family traditions as well as making new ones.

Israel Relief Aid’s “Manna Project” is the perfect way to help 30% of Israelis living under the poverty line at Thanksgiving.  And, it’s never been easier to bless Israel and bring about a quick impact for hungry Israelis didn’t have anything for a Thanksgiving meal.

The elderly scraping by on a government stipend, large families with the father out of work or recently disabled, new immigrant families that ran to Israel for their freedom and are penniless are unsure about where their next meal will come from.

We see the heartbreaking sight of elderly Holocaust survivors, who immigrated to Israel with great joy years ago, now living in 1-room apartment.  But it’s really the Israeli children that we think about most.  Israel's near 30% child poverty rate puts it at the top of UNICEF's "Fairness for Children" report.  One out of every three Israeli children lives in poverty.  They go to bed with hunger every night.

Israel Relief Aid’s Manna Project means nutritious lentils and rice to fill those empty plates.  Israel Relief Aid is partnering with 40 local aid centers throughout Israel to supply a welfare roll of people that are hoping for help . . . for clothing and furniture items.  When they can also receive food, it is incredible for them!

This is such an easy way for you to bless Israel, and also be blessed through thousands of bags of rice and lentils filling the hands and hearts of Israelis right at Thanksgiving.

A wise proverb says “…he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.”  And to refresh Israelis is very rewarding!  For only $1 we can provide a whole family of children with a meal.  For $100, one hundred Israeli welfare families!

Let the impact of your love be seen in the lives of needy children and families in Israel.  Thank you in advance for your compassion -- for being a part of the hearts and lives of the people of Israel!
