Purim Parties for Orphaned Youth Update

Thank you all who participated in giving 407 youth in Ben Shemen a party at the youth village.  

Israel Relief Aid was asked to provide the party supplies that are unique to a youth Purim party: face makeup (drawing on the face for fun), games, clown supplies, cups, candy/licorice/gummies, decorations, table decorations, cotton candy, crowns and fun hats, etc.

Due to the bombing from Iran at any moment of the day or night, and the need to run to the closest bomb shelter, it was decided to hold the party in a divided way – in smaller groups in several bomb shelters. This way the youth could truly enjoy without fear. You can see mattresses in the background of the picture.

The youth played music and danced (jumping mostly as they do today) – a way to release stress, they played games and ate and ate and had a great time.
