Israel Relief Aid CEO Comments on Jerusalem Bus Bombing

Jerusalem Bus Bombing
Arutz Sheva
Last night, April 18, 2016, a Palestinian bombed a bus in Jerusalem.  There were 16 wounded, at least one critically.

In addition, fire-bombers were caught throwing bombs onto Hy 443 Northwest of Jerusalem toward Modiin.  We would like to ask for you to remember Jerusalem in your prayers and pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Some people wonder why Israelis seem so shell-shocked and suspicious.  We are being stabbed, bombed, threatened.  As we take a bus, walk along the street, or highway, or shop in a supermarket. And for years some places in Israel have been bombed regularly, requiring regular runs to the bomb shelter within 15 seconds, and sleeping in the bomb shelter at night in order to try to get a decent night’s sleep.  Due to this condition, many have post-traumatic stress disorder.

Every time we are bombed, it just taxes the Defense Budget, and Israel’s Defense Budget is huge, just to keep sanity in this small country.  The Defense Budget is regularly depleting other budgets, including the Welfare Budget.  This is why Israel Relief Aid is needed - to help where the Welfare Budget cannot and to help real people who have just had a trauma in the family.

Thank you for joining with us!  Bless Israelis in need for Passover and learn more here.
