Hanukkah Toy Outreach 2016

A hospital at holiday time is not a fun place to be.  Everyone is in pain and upset.  That is, until the knock comes on the door of the, room, greeting "Happy Hanukkah!"  That's when the happiness starts.

Meet Yael!

Meet sweet Yael who was one recipient of diapers from Israel Relief Aid (in the picture above, to the left). Yael is married and has three children.  Her situation is very hard and sad.  Her husband had an accident at work two years ago and his leg became disabled.  He has had one operation, and in May 2017 he is due to have a second surgery.

Special Message from Israel Relief Aid CEO

Shalom Chaverim (Friends)!         I thank God for your heart for the nation of Israel. As you read these words, we are two weeks away from year’s end—and meeting Israel Relief Aid’s budget goals by December 31 is imperative for continuing to care for the impoverished, the needy, the homeless in 2017.

Keep On Keeping On

6 Droploads in 1 day!

It was an exhilarating day with our container.  6 a.m. we began droploading in Ashdod, then at an orthodox orphanage in the center, then to an aid center in Haifa, and at a second one in Haifa to which 3 aid centers received. A total of 6 places received straight from the port.

We're All Set!

Israel Relief container has cleared the Israeli port and is all set to dropload to 5 locations in Israel on Tuesday Dec 6th!

Happy Sunday!

Celebrating Hanukkah with Hospitalized Israeli Children

How tragic that as the Festival of Lights approaches, children’s wards and surgical wards are full of hospitalized Israeli children who cannot celebrate this fun holiday.  Hospitals are difficult places for children, and when kids are hospitalized, they are in pain.  The surgery wards are places of tears and sadness.
